Thanks to an Australian donor, there exists a small emergency ambulance in our village since 2010, of which nurse Warni is in charge. Since 2012, there is also a lifeboat on the island. It can be used free of charge by anyone needing to go the doctor or to the hospital on Lombok. Money donations for drugs are always welcome, as well donations in kind, such as dressing material. Health insurance does still not exist in Indonesia. There is a donation box in the Sasak Island Café.
